We are The Omnia Theatre. By Creators, for Creators.

A well-told story.

A well-told story is modern-day magic. A story can lift us high up into the clouds or pull us deep into the depths. They inspire us, they persuade us, they enthrall us, and a well-delivered story will teach us things we didn’t know about ourselves and the world around us. Here at Omnia Theatre, we are all about good stories.

As believers that we each get to write our own story, we’ve written ourselves a Herculean set of trials for your entertainment. An underdog story for the ages the likes of which the world has scarcely seen, yet which so many long for. This is a story that ends with the reinvention of imagination. The reincarnation of creation. And the redistribution of remuneration.

Reintroducing the world to its creativity.

We exist to reintroduce the world to its creativity.

Starting with the ambitious goal of overhauling the entertainment industry, our trials grow only more grandiose from here. We believe that to be human is to be a Creator. We were born for this–every single one of us. We are explorers, adventurers, and builders. It makes us happy to create things. It’s who we are as a species.

Our adversary–the entertainment industry as it currently exists–has been gate-kept by non-personal corporate systems, steep funding requirements, and a far-too-small number of people who do not represent the needs, desires, or interests of the greater population. We’re going to change this.

To reinvent entertainment is no small task, to be sure–which is exactly what will make it a great story. We know it’s going to take us several chapters to accomplish this, and we plan to share our story with you every step of the way. To start, we’ll be launching several series of original content–from podcasts to YouTube videos, to novels, music, and eventually an original animated series. We do this both as Creators, and as everyday people with big dreams. It’s going to take a global community to overhaul entrenched and broken systems, so with great sincerity, we hope you join our guild and our quest.

Putting the power of AI into the hands of individual creators.

See, we won’t be satisfied until everyone on the planet has embraced their creativity. Until every Creator brave enough to take that step is earning a good wage from their own work, and not signing away their Magnum Opus to some snake in a business suit just for the opportunity to make it reality. For those brave enough to step outside the current systems, we are here to support you. To encourage you and promote your work. To do this, we are building a set of tools powered by AI to put the power in the hands of individual Creators and small teams who are driven by passion and purpose rather than profit.

We know these tools will be useful, and we know there’s a need. Like Hercules needed the tools obtained by the success of his earlier labours to complete them, we need these tools to make our own content. These tools will give us the power to create whatever our hearts desire–whatever our minds can dream up–without the need for selling out to obsolete gatekeepers who drain the unique qualities and authenticity from content.

Any good story leaves you wanting more...

So follow us on whichever platforms you use to get the next chapters and find out more about how we’re going to make our story reality!

The Creative Minds behind Omnia Theatre

A new future means shedding some out-dated and detrimental traditions. On that note, Omnia Theatre has shed the “Chief Officer” idea of management for something a little more true to us. Instead, our C’s and O’s stand for Creative and Opifex, respectively.

Creativity speaks for itself, but what the heck is an Opifex? Opifex is a Latin word for a maker, a labourer, an artisan–what we are. We fundamentally reject the connotation of control associated with any “officer” of any sort. So rather than a CEO leading the company from the top, we operate on a bottom-up model with three C3O’s who serve as the foundation and backbone of our organization.

Amanda

Creative Experience Opifex

If you think something looks good here at Omnia Theatre, it’s probably from the brain of this human Swiss army knife! Formally educated in mechatronics engineering and UX / UI development, Amanda’s real talent is her “how hard can it be?” attitude. No mountain is too high, no challenge too daunting. From planning elaborate themed parties to winning dance competitions, there’s few things that Amanda isn’t willing to tackle, making her the team’s MVG: most valuable generalist. She’s responsible for curating the experience of those who tune in to Omnia Theatre.

Adam

Optio Opifex

One of our hosts, a truly unique personality, larger than life, and probably shorter than you. Adam is our man of options and solutions, brainstorming and problem solving, and he carries with him get-up-and-go every team needs to keep pushing forward. From carpentry to running a karaoke company to being an Assistant Director in Vancouver’s bustling film and television industry, Adam makes a plan and he sees it through. He also can’t wait to bring you quality and educational content based on his passion for gaining insight into almost all lifestyles and hobbies as well as a love for entertainment and art (particularly sci-fi), Science, Fitness/Health, and anything in the realm of personal growth!

Carl

Creative Entertainment Opifex

Another AD in our local film industry, Carl plans, schedules, budgets, and curates the entertainment we bring you. Having a serious resume of indie productions, shorts, feature films, and big-network series, he knows a thing or two about making content. He also knows a thing or two about getting the job done and making “it” happen… whatever “it” is. From networking to producing to growing our community, Carl is one of the three pillars that hold up The Omnia Theatre. With the gift of charisma and being a phenomenal people manager, Carl’s teams are always happy to give it their all.

Ricardo

Melus Opifex

Music, music, music. His passion, his hobby, his career, Ricardo loves music maybe more than his wife. Having worked with A-list artists at one of Vancouver’s premier recording studios, Ricardo is an audio engineer that knows how to find the sounds you crave. Oh, and he also plays a smattering of instruments–in case you didn’t believe how much he loves music. With all that musical talent, you’d think he probably wouldn’t get to be good at much else, but you’d be mistaken! He also happens to be one of the funniest people you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting!

Ryan

Creative Exploration Opifex

The central pillar, the writer, the planner, the Explorer. A generalist with ADHD, Ryan has more interests and hobbies than anyone cares to read about here. That said, his eclectic collection of countless curiosities are the bread and butter of Omnia Theatre. Bored by the monotony of engineering school, he opted to cofound a medical device company fresh out of university before stumbling into Vancouver’s film and entertainment industry. Disillusioned by both industries and reinvented by creativity after finishing the manuscript to his first novel, Ryan started Omnia Theatre to be the stage for his Magnum Opus.
